Special thanks to Disney/Pixar for hosting me on this amazing trip to cover the world premiere of CARS 3. Just so you know there may be affiliate links in this post which means that I’ll receive a commission should you purchase something from one of those links. Thank you for helping me keep FTM up and running!
The movers and shakers of Disney/Pixar congregated in Anaheim, California, on Saturday, June 10th, 2017. What event drew the glamorous and talented of Hollywood to Anaheim? It was the world premiere of CARS 3 and I was there in attendance. This was my second red carpet event. I can’t believe that I am saying that…second red carpet event. I never in my wildest dreams thought there would be a first let alone a second!
CARS 3 the third film in the CARS series and since it’s a family film there was tons of fun and entertainment for all ages. They had jugglers, people walking on stilts, and balloon-made cars – think balloon animals.
As usual on the red carpet, there’s an area that’s roped off for the actors, producers and director of the film along with various celebrities who attend the event to be interviewed and photographed by members of the press.
Aside from soaking in the sights and sounds around me, I had time to snag a few photos myself! Big shout out to Stitch Fix for coming through with my red carpet outfit. I loved what I was wearing and felt comfortable.

Whenever I’m on the red carpet for one of these press trips we have a photo buddy. We take photos of each other. I had a ton of fun with my photo buddies, Kerri (middle) from I am the Maven, and Alison (to the right) from Everyday Shortcuts.
And we had to grab a photo in front of the step and repeat banner for CARS 3.
After we screened the film it was off to the streets of Radiator Springs at Disneyland’s California Adventure. We had a quick walk and ride to get from the Convention Center over to the amusement park but Disney being Disney had a plan and it was executed brilliantly.
I went live from the after party when we first arrived so if you have some time check out the live video below. Once again, my Facebook live was glitched and I couldn’t see any comments. You’d think that would be a little more consistent but it’s definitely not.
