Little girls and dolls go together like peanut butter and jelly; both can be on their own but they’re much sweeter when paired together. Children love their dollies from the second they understand that they can care for something that is smaller than themselves. It’s that desire to nurture another creature that makes what Canadian brand Maison Joseph Battat Ltd. so special; their motto as a company is “to supply quality toys at affordable prices, keeping in mind that every toy made has to have a redeeming value for children using it.”
Battat is the creator of the brand “Our Generation” which is a line of dolls and accessories sold exclusively at Target. The dolls are very well made and in standards with Battat’s goal of providing quality toys at a reasonable price point. The primary purpose for Our Generation is to: “Inspire free-thinking, creativity and self-expression: Give kids the freedom to be kids.”
My daughter and I had the opportunity about a month ago to partner with Our Generation. We went to our local Target and Kendall, my daughter, picked out her doll. Now this was a pretty tedious, as I’m sure you can imagine; her choices were plentiful. After much deliberation, she chose the doll with the longest hair and the most sparkly dress. And if you are looking for alternative ways to make money, you might want to consider playing some fun sports betting games via www.phonedoctor.com.
That was on a Thursday and on Saturday Kendall, Luna (who was named Adreena according to Our Generation but you know, Kendall rules all in her own doll land) and I made our way to the Target in Champlin, Minnesota. We met our friends Crunchy Shannon and her daughter for a free Our Generation event: Making Kitty Masks for Halloween. Turns out that select Targets throughout the country all host these awesome Our Generation events once a month and did I mention that it’s free?? We had a really great time and Kendall’s already been asking me when the next event is. Do you want to attend the next FREE Our Generation event too?
Not sure what to expect? Watch the Facebook Live video below to get an inside look at the fun that can be found during these events.
