Special thanks to Marvel and Disney for sending me on this all expense paid trip to cover THOR RAGNAROK, CARS 3 Blu-Ray release, Disney Junior’s “Vampirina” and littleBits’ STAR WARS Droid Inventor Kits. All opinions are my own.
Things can be a little dreary in the world we’re living in today. I’ve talked about it before and while I’d love to just stick my head in the sand that’s not real life but then there’s the movies. Maybe you stumbled upon First Time Mom because you did a random search and saw a topic that you needed. Perhaps you’ve been a long time follower. (I am so grateful to you by the way, I don’t know if you realize it but when we meet face to face I will give you a giant bear hug to show my appreciation.) First Time Mom covers everything that has to do with being a mom – every age and every stage. What do movies and entertainment have to do with being a mom? Escape. It all has to do with escaping from reality every once in a while. Yes, my kids love Disney and I’m pretty sure I’ve cultivated that love all on my own. There has to be some fun things that come in this life and for me it’s Disney and everything they do.
I’m really happy to announce to you all that I’m headed back to Los Angeles again for the world premiere of THOR RAGNAROK! Since this is a press trip and who wants their dollars wasted on only one fun event, we’re cramming in a few goodies that I cannot wait to tell you about.
THOR RAGNAROK World Premiere
I’ll be walking the red carpet again (who gets to say that – again I’ll be on the red carpet – seriously?!) for the world premiere of THOR RAGNAROK. While I’m there I’ll be participating in the press junket for the film so I will get to interview the talent behind this forecasted to be epic film. I don’t know who I’ll be interviewing yet but I love surprises, well, kind of…so we’ll all just have to wait and see who will be there promoting the film. In case you have no idea what THOR is or what is RAGNAROK is, here’s a little bit of information for you:
In Marvel Studios’ “Thor: Ragnarok,” Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok—the
destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization—at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his
former ally and fellow Avenger—the Incredible Hulk!
“Thor: Ragnarok” is directed by Taika Waititi and returns Chris Hemsworth starring as Thor and Tom Hiddleston reprising his role as Loki. They are joined by Cate Blanchett, Idris Elba, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson and Karl Urban, with Mark Ruffalo and Anthony Hopkins. Kevin Feige is producing with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Thomas M. Hammel and Stan Lee serving as executive producers. Eric Pearson and Craig Kyle & Christopher L. Yost wrote the screenplay.
When can you see THOR RAGNAROK? November 3rd, 2017, EVERYWHERE.

There’s this new girl in town named Vampirina, Disney’s “Vampirina”.
Debuting on the Disney Junior on October 1st, Disney’s newest girl, Vampirina, shows a lot of heart and teaches kids how to love and accept their differences. My girls have been watching the premiere episode daily. I think I may have the dialogue memorized. “Vampirina” tells the story of a young vampire girl who faces the joys and trials of being the new kid in town when her family moves from Transylvania to Pennsylvania. We’ll be screening a new episode of the show (my girls are either going to think I’m the coolest mom in the world or they’ll be jealous) and interviewing series’ Executive Producer, Chris Nee (“Doc McStuffins”).
You can watch episodes of “Vampirina” now on Disney Junior and the Disney Channel.
