Hearts, arrows, and hues of red and pink popping up everywhere reminds me that February is just around the corner. I love Valentine’s Day because it’s a pleasant distraction from the chill of winter. It’s also a wonderful time to celebrate all the people I love.

Before giving birth, all my relationships developed over time. Having never experienced love-at-first-sight’s marvelous sting, I didn’t get the whole cupid’s arrow business. Then I held my firstborn  and it happened; like an arrow straight to my heart, love-at-first-sight struck me and my world was forever changed. As Henry Ward Beecher said, “We never know the love of a parent till we become parents ourselves;” I could agree with this more.

I suspect all parents are struck with love when they see their child for the first time. That’s why I love the name of Thirsties new Valentine’s Day inspired print, “Straight to My Heart.” This adorable print is a lovely red with subtle gray hearts and white arrows. It is honestly the most gender neutral Valentine’s print I’ve seen. While “Straight to My Heart” is perfect for Valentine’s Day, babies could rock this print year round. It’s simplistic and timeless with straight lines and a pattern that is childish without being too much of a cutesy baby print. Heck, I’d wear this as a t-shirt with my Mom jeans.

Straight to My Heart flew off retailers’ shelves but one lucky First Time Mom read will win both a wet bag and the One Size All-in-One. Simply fill out the giveaway form below and remember to check out Thirsties great line of cloth diapering products at www.thirstiesbaby.com.
