I saw STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI three times in the theater. Yes, three separate times. I never see movies more than once in the theater but the latest film in the STAR WARS saga wrapped it’s little Force-filled string around my heart and I have completely fallen in love with the film. You can read my full review over here if you have yet to see the film. Tomorrow, March 27th, 2018 you can bring the film to your home theater with the 4K Ultra HD™ Blu-ray, and Blu-ray™ DVD release!!

What’s the benefit of buying the 4K Ultra HD™ Blu-ray and Blu-ray™ version of the film? Why the extras of course! I had a chance to get my hands on a copy of the Blu-ray so I thought I’d give you a little review of what to expect.

My 9-year-old son and I have been thoroughly enjoying the behind the scenes peeks at the film and especially watching actor Andy Serkis, who plays Snoke, get into character and how they made it all happen digitally. I even let my younger kids watch these featurettes of the film because I’ve found that it helps them understand how movies are made; what is real and what isn’t.
