Fruit snacks. Kids love them. Moms have an interesting relationship with them. They’re great because they’re small and come in a nicely packed little bag; they’re irritating because they’re stock full of sugar, high fructose corn syrup, and artificial dyes. It’s true that not every fruit snack is made from the three no-no’s of modern day foods, however, you have to be willing to read the ingredient list to find a brand that has the right ingredients and tastes good. The researching, taste testing and sampling is over: Stonyfield Organic has come out with fruit snacks. We couldn’t be happier.

Made with real fruits and vegetables, no preservatives or artificial ingredients, and 100% DV of Vitamin C, Stonyfield’s delivered on bringing quality and wholesome ingredients into a traditional after school favorite snack. The fruit snacks are shaped like adorable little cows too. They come in boxes of six and two different flavors. Strawberry is my son’s favorite flavor and my daughter’s favorite is both. I kind of agree with her on that one. I like both flavors. The thing I really like about them is that they’re easy to chew too. It’s probably because there aren’t a ton of nasty preservatives making them difficult to chew. They are so easily chewed that I’ve been giving them to my 16-month-old daughter. I was apprehensive at first because I’m accustomed to the super chewy fruit snacks but these are surprisingly easy for her to munch on. She does have a fair amount of teeth; her 12 month molars and incisors, she’s working on her canines.

I have yet to meet a kid who doesn’t love these. They are the perfect after school snack, team snack after the soccer game and play date snack. Check to see if your store is carrying them by clicking here! Does your local store carry them?
