In my last post, I talked about how using cloth diapers was my gateway to greener living. I argued that the green choice is often the most economical and best performing. This is certainly the case with LooHoo Dryer Balls.

The LooHoo Dryer Balls are handmade wool balls that you add to your drying machine. As the balls tumble with your dryer load they separate and fluff your laundry.  These dryer balls pack an eco-friendly economical punch, replacing fabric softeners and dryer sheets, and also shortening drying time!

As a first time mom, I was amazed by how much laundry my boy, BabyCakes, generates! We’re a city living, apartment dwelling family. While I love being in the city, not having in-unit laundry is a hassle and can get expensive so I’m all about anything that helps simplify laundry. I was thrilled when the good folks at Green Team Distribution sent me three LooHoo Dryer Balls to review.
Once again it’s laundry day. I pack up the laundry, put BabyCakes in the stroller, grab the LooHoo Dryer Balls, and we’re off to the laundry room. In my building the dryers are larger than the washing machines so I often try to combine loads when drying so I can save some precious quarters. Unfortunately this sometimes leaves a few items slightly damp. To avoid unnecessary chemicals I stopped using fabric softeners and dryer sheets, but I missed that extra softness.

Laundry with LooHoo: Simpler, Greener, Cheaper

LooHoo Dryer Balls to the rescue! With these balls my loads are completely dry with one cycle and everything comes out soft and pleasantly fluffed. It’s as if I’ve used fabric softener but without the harsh chemicals.  This mama gives LooHoo Dryer Balls and Green Team Distribution her stamp of approval!
