There are a lot of projects coming up from our friend with mouse ears!
Avengers: Age of Ultron
First off, we have Avengers: Age of Ultron opening May 1st. Oh Thor, so pretty and masculine! And lucky you, I have the most recent trailer available right here for you to watch.
When Tony Stark jumpstarts a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as they battle to save the planet from destruction at the hands of the villainous Ultron.
Funny story for you, well, maybe not so funny but my three-year-old daughter wandering off in a Menard’s store the other day. It was the most terrifying five minutes of my life. We found her surrounded by four adults who were trying to figure out who she was and who she belonged to. After everything calmed down and we were back in our going home she was telling us that she wanted to walk away because that’s what her mind said or something like that. It was completely innocent. Then my six-year-old son chimed in about how you can’t listen to the “bad guy” in your head because he’s naughty. It totally made me think of Disney Pixar’s next feature film opening June 19th, Inside Out. About Inside Out,
Growing up can be a bumpy road, and it’s no exception for Riley, who is uprooted from her Midwest life when her father starts a new job in San Francisco. Like all of us, Riley is guided by her emotions – Joy (Amy Poehler), Fear (Bill Hader), Anger (Lewis Black), Disgust (Mindy Kaling) and Sadness (Phyllis Smith). The emotions live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley’s mind, where they help advise her through everyday life. As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley’s main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school.
And last but definitely not least, Tomorrowland. You may remember the trailer aired during the Super Bowl in early February. I am so excited for this film too. It opens this May, a few days after Keira’s first birthday! Maybe I’ll go out on a date with hubby in celebration of her birthday and see it!
In Disney’s riveting mystery adventure “Tomorrowland,” a jaded scientist and an optimistic teen embark on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space.
