What’s my name? What’s name? Uma! Uma! Say it louder!

Just so you know, there are affiliate links in this blog post; it won’t cost you anything extra, however, should you make a purchase from one of the links I’ll receive a small commission for your purchase which in turn helps keep First Time Mom running. I also received a copy of the film in exchange for promotion. All of the opinions stated in this are my own, including the bit about the ear worm songs. Thank you!

If you have children and access to the Disney Channel chances are you’ve heard the catchy songs from Disney’s DESCENDANTS 2 and if you’re like me, “What’s My Name” has been an ear worm since the first time you heard it. Despite the likelihood of hearing the songs play on repeat in your mind for weeks afterwards, the film is fun to watch and has a pretty good message. DESCENDANTS 2 can come home with YOU on Tuesday, August 15th!

Synopsis: The story deepens in the music-driven sequel to the global smash hit “Descendants,” as the teenage sons and daughters of Disney’s most infamous villains — Mal, Evie, Carlos and Jay (also known as Villain Kids or VKs) — try to find their place in idyllic Auradon.

When the pressure to be royally perfect becomes too much for Mal, she returns to her rotten roots on the Isle of the Lost where her archenemy Uma, the daughter of Ursula, has taken her spot as self-proclaimed queen of the run-down town. Uma, still resentful over not being selected by Ben to go to Auradon Prep with the other Villain Kids, stirs her pirate gang including Captain Hook’s son Harry and Gaston’s son Gil, to break the barrier between the Isle of the Lost and Auradon, and unleash all the villains imprisoned on the Isle, once and for all.

Beginning July 1, visit  and enter to win a Disney Channel 5-movie collection including “Descendants” and “Descendants 2”!
