A few weeks ago Disney and their mega fans all congregated in Anaheim, California for the D23 Expo. If you haven’t heard of D23 here’s the short version: D23 is the official Walt Disney fan club and was created in 2009. The D stands for Disney and 23 is because Walt Disney started his company in 1923. It gives its members a greater connection to the entire world of Disney by placing them in the middle of the magic through its quarterly publication, Disney twenty-three; a rich website at D23.com with members-only content; member-exclusive discounts; and special events for D23 Members throughout the year. D23 holds a giant event every two years where Disney presents first looks at some of its upcoming projects. In 2015 STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS was the big presentation.
