Brianna is a wonderfully-strong-willed 14 year old. She is passionate about painting, drawing and pastel art and loves Disney as much as the rest of her family. This busy 8th Grader is a member of the National Junior Honor Society, the W.E.B. Leadership group at her school, a Girl Scout Cadette, and plays clarinet in her school band. She also enjoyed participating in a competitive Robotics League and Youth In Government this year. When Brianna isn’t keeping herself busy, she’s dreaming of her next Disney adventure.

5 Things Teens Need to do at Walt Disney World

Think Disney World is just for the kids? We completely beg to differ. We asked our Walt Disney World teen expert Brianna what were the top five things teens needed to do at Disney World. Here’s what Brianna recommends:

5 Things Teens Must Do At Disney

#5 Epcot’s Around the World

Take a trip around the world; see some of the most iconic architecture from different countries, taste different foods, experience different cultures, and listen to many styles of music. If you do find yourself walking around the world, I highly recommend stopping by the French Patisserie for delicious pastries. You could also head over to Japan and select an oyster and take home a beautiful pearl. You’ll have a great view to watch the firework show all around the world area. There are a ton of fun things to do with a minimum wait.

#4 Animal Kingdom’s Expedition Everest

Expedition Everest in the distance

Visit Nepal and take-on Mt.Everest, if you dare!  You will go through a series of twists and turns to try and escape a ferocious Yeti. This ride is a lot of fun and usually has a wait time from thirty minutes to an hour, you may want to use one of your ‘FastPasses’ for this one. If you like thrills you’ll love this ride.

#3 Hollywood Studios’ Rock N Roller Coaster

Rock-on with Aerosmith as you go from zero to sixty in a matter of seconds. You’ll be shot through the dark on a thrilling course of twists and turns. This is an experience you will find nowhere else. The only downside to this ride is the long lines; may be another opportunity for a ‘FastPass.’

#2 Magic Kingdom’s ‘Happily Ever After’

Magic Kingdom’s “Happily Ever After”

Watch Cinderella’s Castle transform into a collage of characters, color, music and fireworks. It is a beautiful show that you must experience while you are at Disney. This show is usually packed so try to get a spot early (people start committing to locations up to two hours before the show.)  You will not find an experience like this anywhere else and you will regret it if you don’t go.

#1 Animal Kingdom’s ‘Pandora’

Animal Kingdom’s Pandora

Walking into Pandora is like walking onto a whole other planet, with strange plants and floating islands.  Pandora is home to strange cuisines and amazing attractions including ‘Na’vi River Journey’ and ‘Avatars Flight of Passage’. The downfall to Pandora is the wait time, be prepared to wait up to three and a half hours for ‘Avatars Flight of Passage’ or try to get a FastPass. Although three hours sounds like a long time, trust me, it is worth it. Pandora is a world  full of surprises and tons of fun, and it is a must do on your trip.
