This post was written in partnership with Stonyfield Organic™. All opinions are my own.

Did you know that Stonyfield Organic, you know the guys who make the yummy yogurts, is now a Certified B Corporation? What is a Certified B Corp™ though? I’m not a business-y person at all so I went straight to the source to get the inside scoop for you,

Individually, B Corps meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability, and aspire to use the power of markets to solve social and environmental problems.

Collectively, B Corps lead a growing global movement of people using business as a force for goodTM. Through the power of their collective voice, one day all companies will compete to be best for the worldTM, and society will enjoy a more shared and durable prosperity for all.

And you would be surprised, a lot of your favorite brands are also part of the Certified B Corporation movement. Brands like Method. I LOVE their soaps for my everyday use and have you tried their all purpose cleaner? It smells heavenly!!

You may not be familiar with Purely Elizabeth, I wasn’t, but they’re also a B Corp™ company and with their name, how can I not be a huge fan. I like their single serve packs of granola. You can add milk directly into the pack for a quick running to do school drop-off and then off to work breakfast or add it to your favorite Stonyfield Organic yogurt like I did.

King Arthur’s flour? Yes, they’re a B Corporation™ as well, and I wasn’t surprised one bit when I found out that tidbit of information. So are Pete and Gerry’s Eggs, a value’s led company, who uses small family farms across America to gather the eggs they sell in the supermarkets. Their story is really fascinating.

Moving away from the kitchen we’ve got Preserve, a company that reuses recycled #5 polypropylene plastics to create other household items. Best known for their toothbrush, Preserve has a lot of great plastic products as well as recycling drop-offs locations in 250 places in the United States.

Then much later in the day I grab myself a cup of hot tea from Pukka and settle in to my afternoon. Oh and Pukka’s also a Certified B Corp™ company.

It’s just so exciting to see Stonyfield take this next step in their business journey. I feel like they were always exemplified and conducting business the way a B Corp™ company would do so it’s nice to see them be able to join in with some of these amazing brands that make up the B Corp family. Still not sure what this means for Stonyfield? Watch the video below for better understanding.
