This post was created in partnership with Netflix. All opinions are my own.

My middle child, Kendall, loves animals. She, more than my 6-year-old son, has adored caring for animals since she could crawl around after our pet beagle, Chula. To be honest, I don’t really like movies about animals because it usually involves them being treated badly or dying and it’s just too much for me to handle. I think I was probably the only person in America who cried during the movie Beethoven because that adorable St. Bernard puppy was alone and didn’t have a family in the beginning. I’ve gotten over that, thank goodness, since Kendall is always wanting to watch an animal driven TV show or movie.

If you’re looking to cuddle up with your favorite fur-baby check out a few of these flicks seen on Netflix!

For the Littlest

Laura, my little sister and contributing writer to First Time Mom, loved The Adventures of Milo and Otis. I didn’t but then again I think it made me sad which, of course, made me cry. I’m pretty sure that Kendall would love it though!

For the Big Kids

Out of this list Hachi is my favorite; yes, I cried during the movie. It’s just such a sweet movie. I think I cuddled Chula the entire time we watched it. Those furry, loyal companions get me every single time!!!

For Mom & Dad

What? Surprised that Frasier and Friends are in this list? You shouldn’t be. Eddie, the adorable jack russell terrier in Frasier, is a major player in the sitcom. And Friends? Hello, Ross’s pet monkey, Marcel! Plus, you cannot forget Phoebe’s “Smelly Cat.”

Do you have any pets at home? What are your favorite animal movies or TV shows?
